







Anna Andersen is an award-winning film, television, and theatre actor known for her versatile, emotionally layered performances. Renowned for bringing nuanced authenticity to every role, she has portrayed a wide range of characters—from horror ‘final girls’ and scream queens to white-collar professionals and rugged backwoods types. Her work also includes complex roles in period, historical, and fantasy stories.
She is best known for her work in films such as RAMONA and SUMMER OF THE WOLF, and in television series including Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, HBO’s Love Life, and Sundance + NBC’s Ministry of Evil. She has earned multiple awards and nominations for her stage and screen performances, most recently winning ‘Best Performance by an Actress’ for SUMMER OF THE WOLF at the Toronto International Couch Film Festival.
Anna is also a professional singer and dancer with extensive theatre and stage credits. Andersen also performs in French, plays ukulele and piano, masters accents and dialects, and has vast experience with SFX and head/body casting.
Born in Southwest Florida to schoolteacher parents, Andersen is of Danish, Czech, Slavic, and Scottish heritage. She began training in singing and dance at age nine, auditioning professionally by eleven, and went on to perform in regional theatres, operas, musicals, and symphonic concert work.
A recipient of several national voice awards, Andersen earned a talent scholarship to study Music Theatre at Oklahoma City University’s Bass School of Music. After sustaining a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in 2016, she rebuilt her skills through years of treatment and cognitive therapy. Following this she has become a mentor and advocate for Seen & Unseen Disability Rights, including outreach on brain injury and learning disabilities in public schools.
